The Croce di Malta & Mexico Hotel is in an excellent location, just a few steps from the sea in Cesenatico and overlooking the Lungomare Carducci, the city's main boulevard. From here you can easily reach the main points of interest in the area including the most famous amusement parks and the most interesting places to visit.

How to get to Cesenatico

Arriving by train in Cesenatico is not at all difficult, you just have to make a distinction between arriving from the north and arriving from the south of Italy. Arriving from southern Italy, the best stop is at Rimini Station. From here, take a train to Ravenna and after about 20 minutes, get off at the Gatteo a Mare station. Arriving from northern Italy, get off at Bologna Station, take a train to Ravenna - Rimini and after about 1 hour and 30 minutes, get off at Gatteo a Mare station. Trenitalia's Eurostar and Intercity service also connects Cesenatico with Milan and Rome.

Arriving from the north or south of Italy, the route is the same. The recommended exit in both cases is the A14 Valle del Rubicone exit. To reach Gatteo a Mare, once you have exited at the new exit, follow the signs for Cesenatico/Gatteo a Mare (about 9 km). Alternatively, arriving from the south, take the A14 - Rimini Nord exit: S.S. Adriatica towards Ravenna. After 8 km, exit for Cesenatico. Arriving from the North, take the A14 - Cesena exit (2nd exit): turn right towards the sea and at the traffic lights on the S.S. Adriatica turn right. After 6 Km. exit for Cesenatico.

Arriving by plane to Cesenatico, means relying on Romagna's airports such as Rimini Miramare airport, Federico Fellini airport which is about 30 km from Cesenatico, or Bologna's Guglielmo Marconi airport which is about 110 km away. In both cases, once you arrive by plane in Rimini or Bologna, you can reach Cesenatico by car, hire car, taxi, bus or train from Bologna or Rimini station.
